KET has worked closely with schools for many years, granting awards to schools in Canterbury and supporting work experience placements within our sister company, Enterprising Opportunities. Hambrook Marshes offers further chances by linking with schools, colleges and the Universities in Canterbury so that teachers and tutors can make the most of this accessible area in the heart of Canterbury for field trip activities in ecological surveying, species monitoring, geography, biology art and design.

Recent work with the year 9 Enterprise Group at Canterbury High saw some interesting logo designs from the young people who were inspired by Hambrook Marshes, despite the rain and puddles, to help KET come up with a new logo.
