Set in the grounds of Boughton Mount Estate in Maidstone, the walled garden and glasshouses of Boughton Mount Nursery produce fine quality herbs and glasshouse vegetables.
The walled garden, originally part of an Edwardian country mansion and left to Kent County Council in the legacy of the last owner, had fallen into disuse and disrepair. With the help of probationers from the Probationary Service, the glasshouses and open beds have now been cleared and production is underway.

The Nursery is focusing on herb growing and supply and we can provide fresh herbs for restaurant and pub kitchens and residential homes. Herbs will be available for retail to the general public via local farmers markets. If you are a retailer and would like to carry high quality, locally grown herbs, please contact us for wholesale prices.
As part of Canterbury and District Enterprise Trust, Boughton Mount Nursery is committed to providing training and work experience to unemployed people.
